I am trying to install an array support library and array policy module for a Sun StorageTek 2540.  The instructions state the array needs to be in Active-Passive Explicit Failover Mode.  How do I determine this?

No.  Installing two array support library and array policy modules as required for our PureDisk patch.

check 2540 may be having two controllers A and B 2540 . The lun are published through controllers priority either by storage or user.Once one controller fails the others controllers access and will publish. This is active and passive mode .or failover.
Commented:
by default th storage tek 2540 is in active-passive concurrent path .You check by logging through cam software and check the controller page in it.Array support library also support Active Passive Concurrent mode.plus Active passive explicit failover mode .Go ahead with the installation.
