DFS problem

Thanks in advance.  We are troubleshooting DFS issues in a Windows 2003 environment.  DFS is used only for roaming profiles and replication occurs off-hours via robocopy batch files.

There are 10 sites and we have 10 different DFS links that each include 2 targets.  The 2 targets include one for the local branch domain controller (which is obviously where we would like clients to pull profiles from) and one for the main colocation domain controller (this DC exists in all DFS links).  The problem is that one of the branches is pulling from the colo DC instead of the local DC.

How can we start to troubleshoot this?
