Server 2003 Deleting Files With Long Filenames
hello experts,
I have TB's worth of data that is a nightmare to cleanup (formatting not an option) because users have been saving files with ridiculously long filenames. the delete process keeps failing meaning it's taking me so much longer to complete what should be a simple task. I have tried downloading a few free utilities that claim to do this without success so now I don't care anymore, I will pay!!
What do you guys recommend? It needs to get on with the job, GUI is preferable, minimal cost (naturally).
I have googled this guys, I would like to hear from somebody who uses it please....
Thanks

Are you talking the special folder names that users create on FTP sites to store their stuff? If so, command line and use the /x directory to properly remove the folder.
ASKER
