I am working with a Cisco 6500 series switch.

When it reboots, the switch loads to "rommon>". At which time we must manually type "rommon>boot" to load the switch.

When I input "SWITCH# SHOW BOOT", I see that the config register is set to 0x2102.

When I input "SWITCH# REMOTE COMMAND SWITCH SHOW BOOT", I see that the config register is set to 0x2100.

How do I modify the config register on the remote switch / module?

Both need to be set to 0x2102.

Is this on a SUP/ MSFC or Hybrid?
