Home PC runs Vista Home Premium - Office PC runs XP Professional.
HP 6500a All-n-One is the default printer installed on home pc.
When I Remote Desktop in to my Office PC from home, the Printers and Faxes folder on the Office PC ordinarily lists the default printer that is installed on my Home PC. The HP 6500a never even shows up in that list.
I'm familiar with the yada yada yada from HP techs explaining that All-n-One printers are not supported in that environment. I've been successful with other installations on different computers by substituting another driver for the All-n-One driver. HP Laserjet 4 and 4L have been working in other instances, but the 6500a will not accept either of those drivers.
Does anyone know of a driver that will work or have a different solution?
