WORD 2007 - Aligning a screenshot (picture) pasted into a document

I have a document where I have a set of instructions
1)
2)
etc.
that are indented several spaces. Within that portion of the document, I inserted a screenshot; however, it aligned with the left margin of the page.

How do I move it so that it is aligned with my text? (Unlike earlier versions of WORD, I don't see the "ruler" at the top fo the screen.)

Thanks,
Steve

Right-click on the image > Format PictureLayout tab > choose either In front of text or Behind text > OK. You should then be able to move this picture wherever you want.
Right click the screenshot and set text wrapping to square, then just click and drag the screenshot to center.
The ruler is sneakily hidden in Word 2007. You can open it again by following these instructions:

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word-help/show-or-hide-the-rulers-HA010102271.aspx

For your picture, make sure the flow for the picture is set to "inline with text", and you should be able to drag it into the same paragraph as your body text, it should align with the left edge of the paragraph of that text. Make sure the width of the picture is small enough that it can be aligned this way. By default when you paste the picture into word it will be as large as possible to fit in the page - you may need to shrink it down a little

Otherwise, change the flow to "tight" or "on top of text" and manually position the picture wherever you want it.

That worked - more or less. Once I confirmed that I was in PRINT LAYOUT VIEW (after choosing VIEW at the top of the screen),  I was able to click on this button on the right of the screen which brought up the ruler. I was then able to select my picture and move it to the right. Thank you!

To clarify, here's the button I mean...look at what I circled in the attached screenshot. No guarantees it will work for others, but figured I'd include it for clarifcation. Show or Hide Ruller button in WORD 2007

Hey,
it looks like the EE softwre severly shrunk my screenshot--any ideas how to enlarge it? Thanks.
I think its just that you saved it as a BMP - which is enormous. The screenshit is 14mb big. If you re-save it as a JPG you can probably re-upload it and it will look better. Nevertheless, I think anybody visiting this page in the future will get the point.
