Here is a guide that shows you how to configure SSL on Apache within a Windows environment:

First you need to generate CSR

OpenSSL and Generating CSR
Run this command from:
C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\bin
So now, the next step is:
1)      openssl req -out CSR.csr -new -newkey rsa:2048 -nodes -keyout privateKey.key
