Exchange 2010 service pack 1 installation

Hi All,

  I have Exchange 2010 server running as Hub, CAS, Mailbox, I want to install the service pack 1 since it has a lot of changes and fixed for example to export-import mailbox's, I want to know the best practice and the correct way to install it because I didnt install any updates since I installed it which is 4 months back.

Kindly need your idea's and support

Make sure you have installed all pre-requisites, these depends on the OS you are running the exchange 2010 for Windows 2008 and 2008 R2 there are several and most need a reboot to complete installation. If you have Windows 2008 R2 SP1 those update are already included.
