Exchange synchronization errors, anyway to hide from end users?

We have a user who's receiving the "Synchronization failed for your iphone" messages from the Exchange 2010 server. These are supposed to be fixed in the update rollout 3 for SP1 but I cannot run this patch until a later date. Is there anyway to hide these messages from being sent to the user? They are coming from the Exchange server itself... :|

Thank you!

Perhaps a client-side rule until you can patch?

Yes that sounds about right but I was curious how I would go about doing that as I'm very rusty with Exchange 2010 :(
