MOSS 2007 Project to Sharepoint 2010 Migration Issue
Background
The attached project implemented in MOSS 2007 has an option that schedules a job and gets additional configurations from some sharepoint components which are used as in shared folders and list. Converted the project to SP 2010 (fastest way) in VS 2010 for deployment.
Objective
This is an SP 2007 project which is actually moving (uploading) information to a list . It has to be migrated to SP 2010
Problem
The project doesnt compile in SP 2010 apparently due to Sharepoint ASPX tags like <sharepoint:WebApplication Selector which are shown as disabled in SP2010 so are unusable. Can add Timer job though on SP 2010 and can make it work.
