Disk read error starting virtual server

I have a virtual 2003 server that runs on win 7 virtual pc.  Removed virtual machine additions.  Rebooted several times to assure no problems booting. Server has been updated. Coppied vhd file to hyper-v server. Went throgh the wizard to create a virtual machine.  When i try to connect,on boot I get "A disk read error has occured  Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart".  I run other VM's without issue.  Hyper-v is windows 2008 r2 standard 64 bit.

Recaptured image using Disk2vhd.  It was a problem with the image.  Booting and repairing may have repaired it as well but since pointing to a problem with the OS I though I would try to capture the image again, for the third time.  It booted up this time without issue.
