I wanted a list of pros and cons for the various naming conventions used at my company. . That we can propose a standard naming convention to be used going forward. A simple table of  web property addresses grouped by conventions and the pros and cons of each convention would be fine.

Any idea ?

The subject line (question) has absolutely nothing to do with the details.. Website Template sites are good first starts at website design but the template has to be modified by someone familiar with the technology used in the template.

If you want an answer to the details, then ask another question. Flagged for attention.

You can use either a subdomain or a directory - it's up to you!  Cookies and file paths are handled differently.  If you are creating a very large site like Twitter, you might want to use subdomains.

A Google search for this string will be helpful: subdomain or subdirectory.
