I am trying to figure out how to do Hosted VDI utilizing Citrix XenDesktop 5 with MCS.  I do not want to install a Provisioning Server for PXE boot.

Is there a way to have Wyse Thin Clients to boot like PXE but using only MCS?

I have read articles regarding Desktop Appliance Lock.

Please advise.  Thank you.

There are some new ones that can boot like that, but I they all require PVS rather than MCS so to answer your question I'm afraid that at this stage the answer is no.
You could setup MCS which has machines running through the Delivery Controller. You can then install the Desktop Appliance lock pushing the desktop through to the Web Interface address which will then preset a direct connection to the Virtual Desktop. Not really using PXE boot, but it would still work. You can also use a BDM (Boot device Manager) like a mounted ISO instead of PXE boot.

Both your responses are what I concluded as well.

I guess I will have to build a PVS and PXE boot.

Cheers
