How to install a FTP Server on Amazon EC2

Trying to get an EC2 server built.

Have the hard drive, and the OS installed, webserver, etc, but stuck on one thing.

Trying to get the exact command to install a decent ftp server -- like vsftpd, or proftpd.

Configuration is Amazon standard Suse x64 (said it had apache, php, rails, etc, but nada, had to install all that crap myself)

The installer is "yast2", although i got "yum" installed now.

What I would like is the exact command (i presume case sensitive), and any configuration tips for a single user with access to the web directory --- standard ftp (not ftps).

Thanks

Thank you.

It seems there was a problem with EC2's connection to the repository where it wasn't finding  vsftpd  package.

yast2 -i  vsftpd

now works, however your solution (although it requires further dependancies  -- install apache, php, webmin), does work as far as i can tell as well, in which case, I will close this and still reward the points to you.

This is not a command line based solution.
