Please explain radio buttons etc in Excel

I've been given a workbook which has radio buttons and combi-boxes (I think that's the name for these, similar to radio buttons but they appear with square tick boxes rather than round selection indicators, and you can select more than one). Please can you explain how to create, use and delete these, as Excel help gives no help on these? I'm using Excel 2003. The cells holding these seem to have a value of 1 if selected and 0 if not selected. The workbook contains radio bottons in cells B5 to B16, and combi-boxes in cells F5 to F21.
Thanks

Thanks, I'd forgotten about control toolbox. Is it possible to make the button be resized to fit the cell it's placed over when the row or column is re-sized?

Sounds like you either have checkboxes or a listbox that's been set to display checkboxes.

If it's a listbox then it's only one control and checkboxes will be multiple controls.

You would create them in the same way, from either the Forms toobar or the Controls toolbox.

If they are from Controls toolbox they can be set to move and size with cells.

The results aren't always too great - you need to line up  the top/bottom etc of the control with the top/bottom etc of the cells.
