- When the Exchange database drive full. The database dismounted in clean shutdown state.

- If you want it to bring it online there are two options:
a. Create Space the drive where exchange database is located.
b. Move the exchange database to other drive where enough disk space available. For this refer this article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/821915

- when the disk is full, the DB will be automatically dismounted . correct?
- Users that have their Mailboxes in that DB, will not be able to access their email. correct?
-Now by the time a new bigger drive is created, how can I make users able to use their outlook send/receive emails? most suggest dial tone DB
-Extending the space on the existing partition where the DB reside, would this automatically or manually mount the DB back ?
- either moving the DB to a new larger driver or extending the existing partition, dial tone DB is vital to keep user send/receive emails. correct?
