how to i configure SNMP on my linux systems for monitoring with zenoss ?

Please can u tell me how do i configure SNMP on my SUSE Linux Desktops and Servers for monitoring with zenoss. Also can u lead me for SNMP installation and configuration my zenoss server itself. I have tried to do it, but actually not sure if its proper. I am able to monitor my Windows XP devices, but not linux systems. and also i am using SUSE linux server as my zenoss server. PLease help
