Active Directory, accessing other computers Problem
I have a domain admin account, that I am logged in on my workstation. If I open up CMD.EXE, and type:
dir \\computer\c$,
It returns:
The system cannot find the path specified.
However, if I open up Windows Explorer and use the same \\computer\c$, it propagates the same data. And then if I go back to CMD, and shell the same command afterwords, it propagates the data that I am expecting. What do I need to change in AD to get the results I want in CMD?
The AD Server is running 2003
dir \\computer\c$,

Can you do a "net view \\computer" first before you do "dir \\computer\c$"? What happens?

I've also tried running command prompt in Administrator mode, and I'm getting the same results.

Well, I found out a big clue. I had a VPN tunnel active to my office. I disconnected from my office, and I am able to do this now. I wonder why.
