Hi,

You could kindly ask the Ebay seller to download it and burn it on a DVD for you. Again as you are trialling both products, you do not need a key. Both products will install and give you time to understand the product.

The Windows Server 2008 R2 media is here to buy: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Authentic-Windows-Server-2008-R2-x64-installation-DVD-/260828890036?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cba9d03b4#ht_500wt_1156

Hope this helps.

download the trials from Microsoft

best way to learn is to install Active Directory and Exchange yourself, getting a VHD will not help as you will still need to know how to use the application

there are also different combinations and topology you could have and that depends on what your requirements are

Eg:
Small Business Server [AD, Exchange, Sharepoint on one box]
or
Separate Domain Controllers and Exchange Servers

There are many videos/walkthroughs out there, have a look at CBT Nuggets | Trainsignal etc etc
