I am using rTorrent in Linux.
Now suddenly when using rTorrent I get the message: [Couldn't resolve host name] and nothing downloads. Just happened a couple of weeks ago, worked perfectly before. There are no changes  to the system that I know of. /etc/resolv.conf and /etc/hosts are the same. I can easily resolve with nslookup from the terminal.
~# ls -al /etc/resolv.conf
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 34 26 mars 07:55 /etc/resolv.conf

Looks right to me.

# more /etc/resolv.conf
217.13.7.140
217.13.4.24
10.0.0.1

No problem with this.

I run rTorrent as a service, something like this:
