exchange 2010

I've installed exchange 2010 on my sbs 2011 server. added the send connector, added my internet domain to the accepted domains, added anonymous to the receive connectors default and client permissions. I think i am missing something because
1 - i do not see my exchange features in active dir. users and computers
2 - when i add a new mailbox, it only adds mydomain.local and i have to manually add
3 - i can not set as the send default.

thanks. that solved 2 and 3, but why doesnt the exchange features show in act. dir users and computers?

The email address policy will address your other issues.

Exchange tools no longer exist in AD Users and Computers. That was discontinued in Exchange 2007. Managing Exchange is now a totally separate process to managing AD, so you must use the Exchange Management Console (or Management Shell, if you know Powershell) to manage Exchange recipients.

However, with that said, on SBS 2011, you should be using the SBS management tools and wizards to manage your users and mailboxes. If you don't, you will lose out (or break) many SBS-specific features.
