Would robocopy would be best or are there more recommended applications?
Is there advantage for making a ghost (rather than copy) to a non OS drive?
Thanks in advance!

I use Robocopy for Staging, but I would not us it for a backup solution. I do not think there is a verification switch. I know you can use /V for verbose and that just showes Skip files which in turn confirms if a file is not logged it was copied.
I would agree with leakim971 that NTBACKUP is your best choice for a free backup solution w/ verification.
