Can you add the Exchange GAL to the Outlook Address Cache (Auto complete) for Outlook/Exchange 2010

We just moved a lot of users over to Outlook and Exchange 2010.  Since the users are on a different exchange server, their old NK2 files will not work for email address within their organization so we are telling users that they will not have their NK2 (auto complete) entries on the new system.

Is there a way to get the GAL added to their auto complete so that they can at least start off with some entries?

- The Auto Complete file build as you start sending the mails to the users.

There is a workaround for that
1.open a new mail.
2.add all addresses in your GAL.
3.save the new mail to drafts

This will give you only email addresses within the organization.

What I did is, I sent an email these steps to all employees in the org

missed to include in point 2 of above post.
2.Add all email addresses from the GAL to 'To' or 'CC' field then save it to drafts.

Next time autocomplete will come for all email addresses within the org.
