Reconnect Cisco VPN after standby/hibernate?
I am running with the Cisco vpn client 5.0.07. If I go into standby/hibernate without disconnecting my vpn, I am unable to connect to the VPN devices. The only resolution that I have found is to reboot the machine and start from scratch.
I know the basic solution is to stop the client before going into standby but I often forget. I've tried several steps with ipconfig, or disabling and re-enabling the network interface etc and none work. Does anyone have a reliable way of resetting or clearing the clients state so that it can connect without needing a reboot? I'd appreciate any help.
