simulating IO pattern of current Oracle database using a tool / iometer

I currently have an Oracle 9i database running on a SAN.

I would like to gather its IO pattern (IOPS, block size, etc) so that
I can simulate this IO on a NAS (but without building the Oracle DB
on the NAS as I'm no DBA).

Then I would like to compare by how much the IO performance
would degrade if I were to host the Oracle DB on the NAS (vs
what it is currently running on the SAN).

I have free disk space on the SAN to simulate using iometer if
there's a need to do re-simulation on the SAN using iometer.

Kindly provide step by step commands/instructions.

Oracle DB running on HP-Ux but I can always resimulate on
Linux RHES if iometer doesn't have a version on HP-UX.
