netbackup\online_util\fi_cntl folder is eating up disk space

I have moved all the files in my netbackup\online_util\fi_cntl  folder and it does not free up the disk space it is using 5 gig of space on my c drive. I no longer use Netbackup and have disabled the services. this is an exchange 2010 server  bpfis.fim.dag1_1287428834.0.MIS_SG1_Logs_E0A00009A0E.log.MetaData
anyone know how to get the 5 gig of space back

Is this by any change a virtual server?
The online_util\fi_cntl directory is used to store snapshots.
Maybe there is still some backup-snapshots hanging.
