I want to deploy a corporate desktop wallpaper. When I apply a policy on a specific user, it works fine. But when i apply it to a group of users, it doesn't apply. The wallpaper is shared to a specific user "Sam" and to Billing group where "Sam and Candy" belong. I log on to Sam and it works fine but when i log on to Candy, it doesn't work. Any idea please. Make sure you apply the policy on OU where users and groups exist also give right on the shared area and wallpaper to the required group and users, it will certainly work and in my case the corp wallpapers are getting applied properly.
When I apply a policy on a specific user, it works fine. But when i apply it to a group of users, it doesn't apply.

try the steps below to narrow down the cause of this issue:

1. Run RSOP.MSC or "gpresult /v >>c:\gp.txt" on client to make sure the wallpaper policy was applied.
2. If the policy was applied, check the permission of the wallpaper folder. Make sure Authenticated User/everyone or group has proper Permission.
3. Could you manually set the wallpaper?

FYI how to set desktop background through GPO :
\User Configiguration\Administrative Templates\Desktop\Active Desktop\

To set a users Desktop wallpaper via a Group Policy Object (GPO) the following two settings need to be configured- Enable Active Desktop and Active Desktop Wallpaper.
