OWA - Page cannot be displayed on inbox items only
Hi Experts, Both my external and internal users are able to logon to OWA, they see their new and old emails in the inbox, but when they click on any of them, they get the message "The web page cannot be displayed". We can open calendar items and create new caledar itmes with no issue. I've checked the log files on the backend and frontend servers and I don't see anything out if the ordinary....please help !!!
Hi,
You did not mention the exchange version here, However as you mentioned backend and frontend servers, I am considering thet you on exchange 2003 environment.
I suspect the issue the OWA virtual directory, Have you delete and to re-create the virtual directories for Outlook Web Access?
Reset the virtual directories Exchange 2003 : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/883380.

Regards,
What's the exact error message? Are you able to post a screen dump of the message?
You didn't mentioned exact error message? Have you checked in IIS logs? Is this happening in Outlook as well? Have you checked the SyncIssues folder in Outlook? Do you see any application/system event logs on both BE & FE servers?
However, I had similar issue and got resolved after unhooking the Anti-Virus. If you have any AV, please disable all services and if this is Exchange aware AV, then disable both the registry kesy
HKLM\System\CurrentControl Set\Servic es\MSExcha ngeIS\Viru sScan
Proactive Scanning - Set to 0
Enabled - Set to 0 (By default, when you stop & disable all AV services, this will become 0)
Background - Set to 0
Somestimes, this could cause if AV signature's has any issues. After updating new signature files and turned on the AV services, never this issue back again.
