How do I disable the "Remember Password" dialog for FF, IE, or any browser for that matter, if I need to?

I have a web site / application that will be requiring users to sign in and out frequently, I don't want the "Remember Password dialog to continuously pop up. Is there a way to disable this functionality?

...oh, i changed the "TextMode" property of my text box (to hide the text entered) and that's when i noticed that this would be a problem. if it helps any, the users are / will be students and they will be "signing in" to a system, to track / log their time, so it's not the traditional use of the password functionality,...though what the enter will be checked against a database but only to verify that they "exist" not to give them access to anything...

...also, when i "X" out of the "Remember Password" dialog, it removes the text, i need it to stay there so when the user clicks the "Look Up" button the text can be parsed and compared against a database value...how do I solve that as well?
