Hi, I don't seem to be able to scp into my FreeBSD box. I use Cyberduck using option &quot;HTTP/SSL&quot; (port 443). It asks me to confirm the security certificate hostname/IP mismatch, and then it simply displays (after a long wait) a blank directory.... I need to install a Web GUI driver for a HighPoint RR2340 card in a FreeBSD environment. I have zero experience with FreeBSD, and am looking for detailed / step-by-step help.<br />
<br />
So far I have downloaded the driver file (WebGUI-FreeBSD-v1.4-13-10<wbr />0917.tgz) from <a href="http://www.highpoint-tech.com/USA_new/series_rr2300.htm" rel="ugc">http://www.highpoint-tech.com/USA_new/series_rr2300.htm</a>&nbsp;. I can either copy it onto a USB HD or a CD-ROM, but all else is a mystery to me. Please help.

How to install from CD-ROM in FreeBSD

Unix is a multitasking, multi-user computer operating system originally developed in 1969 at Bell Labs. Although FreeBSD does not install the X Window System by default, it is available in the FreeBSD ports collection. A number of Desktop environments such as GNOME, KDE and Xfce, and lightweight window managers such as Openbox, Fluxbox and dwm are also available to FreeBSD.
