How to install from CD-ROM in FreeBSD

I need to install a Web GUI driver for a HighPoint RR2340 card in a FreeBSD environment. I have zero experience with FreeBSD, and am looking for detailed / step-by-step help.

So far I have downloaded the driver file (WebGUI-FreeBSD-v1.4-13-100917.tgz) from http://www.highpoint-tech.com/USA_new/series_rr2300.htm . I can either copy it onto a USB HD or a CD-ROM, but all else is a mystery to me. Please help.

Hi, I don't seem to be able to scp into my FreeBSD box. I use Cyberduck using option "HTTP/SSL" (port 443). It asks me to confirm the security certificate hostname/IP mismatch, and then it simply displays (after a long wait) a blank directory.... See attachment User generated image
