Cant create new Mailbox database exch 2010
I was able to move the orignal mailbox database from the C drive to the D drive, but when I try to create a new mailbox database, i get the error about not having insufficient access rights. I have added all the rights to the account I am using and I have also made sure the Inherit check box was selected in AD Advanced but nothing seems to be helping.
This is on an Exchange 2010 server..

Are you getting the error, because you can't create a new file or because you don't have access to write in the folder you are trying to create the new file... or is this an error becasue you are loged in with an account that is not a member of the necissary AD Exchange groups to manage exchange databases?

I have access to create folders and I think I belong to all of the groups for exchange. What are the groups to belong to?
What is the exact error you are getting?
Your account should be a member of Exchange Organization Administrators, and Organization Management Groups.

First there are no groups listed for the members in AD that you refer to and second the error just says Insufficient Access Rights
