VGA Video Extender

Greetings. I am looking for a good, reliable product that will allow me to extend the video of a computer. I need to display informational content to several HDTV's approximately 100 - 200 ft. from the source. I've been looking at the VGA extenders from StarTech which allows extending video over network cabling. I like this idea however, I've been reading mixed reviews on them, not sure if this would be a good product to go with. Hoping someone can provide a product they’ve had good experiences with based on my particular scenario.

Are you set on extending the video signal?
Have you considered a thin client device close to the display and connect that back to your source over the network.

Much appreciated for the suggestions. Most likely going with HDMI connection versus VGA. Didn't consider that option because I was only finding info on VGA extenders. This is why I posted the question.
