Sorry, Nexus doesn't support acting as a DHCP Server. Why not use a server for that purpose, which would be better design wise also.

A Nexus 7k can not be configured as a DHCP server.

As far as I am aware the Nexus 7000 simply doesn't support DHCP server functions.

There is no licence for DHCP functionality.

DHCP snooping is used to ensure the security of DHCP services on your network.  You would use it to ensure that only authorized DHCP servers exist, or rather are available to service clients, on your network.

Kindly explain ,how it will be a good design if we use a external server because i have to convince my team in tommorrow Meeting and also how can i reditrect DHCP requests using VLANs to the server,is it IP-Helper such feature in Nexus Address. Will you post the sample configuration using Nexus.

If possible pls attach a Trouble shooting document with VLAN based DHCP  issues

I don't think you will need to explain why an external server is a good design approach - it is the ONLY design approach.  The NX-OS just does not support acting as a DHCP server.

Have a look at this...

Yes, you will either need to use an external server or setup another L3 switch or router to act as a dhcp server, but why do this. Just set up a cheap open source box for dhcp purposes.

It's not a question of design, it's a question of purpose. The Nexus 7000 is a Data Center switch. It's purpose is to move large amounts of traffic very quickly. Additional functions, such as DHCP services, would impact this purpose negatively.

Commented:
DHCP can only be run on layer 2.5 or layer 3 switches.  The Nexus switches are layer 2 devices.  Layer 2 devices have no routing table.  Without that, they can't do DHCP.
Commented:
scratch the above comment from me.  I meant arp table, not routing table
