Can't get Windows xp to recognize Kodak camera
We have a user who uses a Kodak EasyShare Z1012. When he first installed it, the Easyshare software kept malfunctioning, so he removed it. He would plug the usb cable in and it would prompt him asking how he wanted to view the files, and he would choose Windows Explorer, which worked fine. It recently stopped recognizing the pictures, but we can access them on another pc. We've reinstalled Easyshare, uninstalled it again, and nothing works. When you plug in the usb, you here the chime like it sees it, but it never brings it up, and it's not available in Explorer.
Is the "Windows Imaging Service" enabled? With the Easyshare software, it should be recognizing the camera just fine.....
Sorry, should be "Windows Image Acquisition Service"....
