lvm raid

can anyone please tell me if this is sware raid or not?

This isn't sufficient to tell you if it is s/w raid or not.
Can you paste lspci -vv
might help

Could you also provide the output of
fdisk -l
dmesg |grep sd
lvs

please could you advise what i need to look for - the disks are all local and we're not using san storage. almost sure we're using hardware raid but i would still like to know how best to check myself.

when you do
lvs -a -o +devices

In "Attr" column, do you see "mwi-a" for any LV?
