I have a windows 2003 that runs VMware server , within that VMware server , I run a domain controller VM.

The problem is that , system time on both machines changes to something else . multiple times a day.

Hi,

Could you ensure that the correct time zone is set on both the computer and the VM ? You can double click the time on your desktop and go to the "time zone" tab. Could you also check that the service "Windows time" is running on the DC and starts automaticly?

Also, I would like to know if the computer is running 24/7 or if you shutdown it often ? Are these machines behind a firewall that could block the NTP port wich is port 123 ?

Thanks

Yes , both are using EST daylight time . Automatic adjustment is also checked on both .

They are running 24/7 .

They are behind firewall but they were working fine for a couple of years , it just started happening from 15 days ago. no changes to firewalls. ALso , we are getting this error in windows ( on DC ) :
~~~~~
Windows cannot find the machine account, The clocks on the client and server machines are skewed
~~~~~
Doesn't seem to be firewall related , it's like a DC issue.
