on
in windows 7, you can have alternately 2 users login to the workstation in 2 different sessions,
There is the switch user button, to login as different user.
the problem most of the time a user starts typing the password before they switch user, and keep re typing password for several times before they realize they need to switch user, by then they could have locked the account of previous logged in user.
I wonder if there is any setting in Active directory GPOs to remedy to this issue .

thanks

You could switch your timeout period before the screen locks out from say 5 or 10 minutes to be simply 1 minute or even 2 minutes of inactivity..

Hi.

If you use the policy that prevents the last login name from being shown, this should be no problem. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc938084.aspx
