Do you set up MX records for each domain in DNS server?
You need the MX record to tell outside world where is the mail server for each domain. Otherwise outside world (gmail) doesn't know where the email send to.

Do you have delivery failure email in gmail?
Please post that mail here.

Besides, in gmail, you can click on "Reply" pull down menu for that mail and select "Show Original".
Please also post the result of "Show Original" here.

From the Linux machine command line, do
host -t mx yourdomain.com

If possible, please provide the real domain name so we can test outside of your server.

$ host  austfinancial.com
austfinancial.com has address 60.241.48.12
austfinancial.com mail is handled by 1 mail.austfinancial.com.

$ host  adbydesigns.com.au
adbydesigns.com.au has address 60.241.48.12
adbydesigns.com.au mail is handled by 1 mail.adbydesigns.com.au.

So you have multiple MX records or domains point to the same IP?

By the way, do you set up PTR for your mail server?

$ nslookup 60.241.48.12
Non-authoritative answer:
12.48.241.60.in-addr.arpa       name = 60-241-48-12.static.tpgi.com.au.

Authoritative answers can be found from:
48.241.60.in-addr.arpa  nameserver = ns1.tpgi.com.au.
48.241.60.in-addr.arpa  nameserver = ns2.tpgi.com.au.
ns1.tpgi.com.au internet address = 203.12.160.40
ns2.tpgi.com.au internet address = 203.26.24.40

some spam check server will check PTR to determine the email is spam or not.

For send email, port 25.
For receiving email from your mail server, it depends which protocol do you use.
IMAP port 143
IMAP3 port 220
POP3 port 110
http port 80
https port 443
