Are these definitely dates?

Not sure what you mean about saving, but if you want to convert dates you can try this.

1 Select a blank cell in the worksheet.

2 Copy the blank cell.

3 Select the 'dates'.

4 Goto Paste>Paste Special... and select Add from the operation section.

5 With the dates still selected goto Format and chose your date format.
