FTP and File-Type Blocking on TMG

Hello Experts,

Testing TMG 2010 in our organization, i'm a newbie to TMG, got a couple of questions.

1. I want to block download of any files from internet.  I have created a deny rule from internel/external to internal/external (not sure if this is right way) to block FTP and FTP over HTTP. But I can still download files... where am I wrong ?

2. What is the procedure if I want to block download of particular file types, like .EXE ?

1) As I know, you can specify file download limits ( for example <100 MB)... have a look at malware inception settings:

Very nice link, the procedure is clear for file-types...

How about blocking complete FTP, downloads n uploads ?
