I have a topsite and 6 subsites. Within each, there are document libraries. My manager wants to be notified when any of the files within the libs have been modified, added or deleted. I would like to send an email to Announcements webpart (I've enabled incoming email) to say something like: "Notification: (location of file) has been modified"
I've tried a workflow but reviewers and CC: come from our global address book.
I've tried alerts but the 'send alerts to' come from our global address book.
I've tried SP Designer but I don't know how to use it very well.
Is there a simple way to do this?
