Hi,

I'm trying to delete a particular folder but, the cannot delete it ...it says that the file name is too long to be deleted and place in the rubbish bin.

Cheers

Cut and paste to a new local?
have you tried booting to a linux live cd and removing the file.  A simple one to get is called slax, ubuntu will work as well
You can always SUBST the folder just under what you are trying to delete to a drive letter.

Example: C:\TEMP\REALLY\LONG\PATH.....

SUBST T: C:\TEMP
T:
RD REALLY /s/q

This works....
tks
