I have an old IBM p615 that hangs on boot and displays the message " 0518 /var mnt failed".  The rootvg is not mirrored.

AIX 5.3 machine won't boot.

Unix is a multitasking, multi-user computer operating system originally developed in 1969 at Bell Labs.
