Setting up Cisco UC560 T1/E1 with UK ISDN-30e
Hello, we are trying to get a Cisco UC560 T1/E1 to connect with a BT (British Telecomms) ISDN-30e circuit. We are using just 8 channels.
On the UC560 under the T1/E1 trunk we have the following options, those marked with asterisk are the current settings that do not seem to work. WE have tried all the Switch types but none work. An engineer confirmed this morning (with his telephone) that he can make calls from the cable that plugs into the UC so we know the interface with the UC is the issue.
Connection Type - T1* / E1
Channel Signalling - None / ISDN PRI* / FXO / FXS / E&M / FGD
Switch Type - None / 5ESS / 4ESS / DMS100 / DPNSS / NET5* / NI / NTT / QSIG
Bearer Capability - None / Speech* / 3100Hz
Time Slots - 8* to 24*
Cisco have mentioned that we need to know which channels are in use (In reference to time slots) but BT do not seem to have the answers.
Any ideas? Anybody in the UK got a UC560 to connect to a BT ISDN-30e circuit?
Thanks
