Thanks for your quick response! &nbsp;So if i unlock it, it should accept any simcard for US service with no hassles? &nbsp;And should also still work with my existing phone service provider card when i return? &nbsp;Might seem like silly questions but my plan is to order a sim card that has the air/data coverage i need then return the phone to normal when i get back. &nbsp;All this based on me checking out the link you provided above, of course.

Just got an iphone 4 from a phone service provider on a 3 year contract in Canada. &nbsp;Am going to be travelling into the US but have heard the horror stories about returning to roaming charges. &nbsp;So i was considering unlocking it and getting a temp sim card with decent coverage for my week-long trip. &nbsp;Will the phone relock properly after an pdate through itunes? &nbsp;Are there any other dangers in doing this to my iphone? &nbsp;Any advice?
