Unable to install Sharp AR168S on Windows 7 64 Bit pc

I downloaded the correct driver as was able to install the printer but the print jobs error out. I have tried installing different Sharp AR 64 bit Drivers but they all error out. Any work arounds?

I have heard that a lot of people are having problems with Sharp drivers right now. I suggest contacting their technical support and asking if they have any compatible drivers for Windows 7 x64. That is going to be the quickest way to fix it.

If all else fails you can try to install the printer and select similar drivers and try to print test pages and see if they print correctly. Sometime you can use the wrong driver and maintain basic printing capabilities.

Have you tried all drivers listed under win 7 x64?

Try re-installing printer with different drivers, is this a printer setup as a print server? or plugged in directly?

I have tried different drivers. It is being used as a standalone printer connected via USB.

I have submitted a trouble ticket with Sharp via their website. We shall see what happens.

Give this a go. the 208 replaced the 168 but is a current device.

It is the same driver as the 168, according to Sharp driver downloads.
