FTPS - SFTP

Hi there,

We are planing to implement a SFTP or FTPS server to be used by external customer.
Is it possaible to use Internet Explorer as a client.
The point is that i do not want the user to download any ftp client to access files.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Drashiel,
I could not get your point.
Could you please explain more

Thanks

You don´t like that clients uses another think that IE, ok? If I have administrative privileges, I can install everything, including an FTP client. The only way to avoid this (ignoring portable software) is removing setup privileges.

Hi Drashiel,

Maybe my question is not clear.
So let me ask in another way.
Could i use IE to connect to FTPS or SFTP server?

Thanks & Regards,
Miguel Angel Perez Muñoz

I don´t know, but suggest use a FTP client (filezilla per example) because Internet explorer is very limited on FTP uses.
