Detect column

Hi

When the ActiveCell.Value = "dist" then i would like to have the column (A, B, ...AA,...), below COL to count the number of times of "comp". The column where "dist" is in the columnhead can differs every month. How can i do that?

        For i = 1 To 200
            If ActiveCell.Value = "dist" Then
                number = WorksheetFunction.CountIf(COL, "Comp")
