how do I preload drivers?

I am needing to install RAID drivers for my motherboard so I can setup a RAID and restore to it. How do I load RAID drivers before I initiate a RAID?

RAID controller should be able to boot too and configure when you boot the server. RAID drivers are only needed within the install of Windows

You just hit F6 when you install the O/S

OK... I am not doing an install... I am doing a restore after creating an array. The backup was not on a RAID. When I restored to the new array I got a BSOD which I am very sure is due to the lack of a RAID driver. So, I would like to install the raid driver before I do another backup so I can restore to a new array.

You probably need to do the install for the RAID but I guess that's a problem if you are sitting at BSOD.

Maybe try removing the RAID and see if you can run without BSOD. Then install RAID.

You would do a restore then run a repair on the OS then during the repair you will need to add the RAID driver

So... I have the drivers... there is no way to preinstall them?
