Turn off automatic refresh with VBA when inserting chart from Excel

Hi Experts I am inserting a chart into Word from Excel using VBA,

the chart is on the office clipboard and has to be of the Excel chart object type not the Office object type, the paste syntax I have works fine but I dont have the code for changing the chart so it doesnt refresh automatically - Does anyone know how I turn this off? I only want the chart to refresh when a user clicks a button so I still need the chart linked..

Link      Optional      Variant      True to create a link to the source file of the Clipboard contents. The default value is False.
